CUPPING DEVICE
This class uses our professional grade cupping tool (see images). This cup is exclusively available for students of this course and you will be emailed a link to purchase it upon registration. We will not be teaching to other cups, if you choose to use another cup, it's on you to learn how to operate yours.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
Unlike facial gua sha, cupping uses controlled suction and is much more prone to user error. That’s why technique really matters when practicing at home.
Done well, facial cupping becomes a powerful extra lever to your gua sha practice, helping lift, sculpt, de-puff, and release tension. I often combine both techniques in my clinical work to get the best results for patients.
But pressure, pacing, direction, and aftercare matter greatly and are rarely taught properly by influencer-led classes or those without formal training in Chinese medicine. Used improperly, cupping can trigger excessive “sha” (therapeutic petechiae), irritation, or lingering marks, especially on delicate facial tissue.
That’s why I decided to teach this class myself. Most people teaching facial cupping online are not formally trained in TCM, where this powerful therapy comes from.
LEARN IT RIGHT WITH ME, A DOCTOR OF ACUPUNCTURE AND TCM.
In this course, I’ll teach you facial cupping the proper TCM way, with clear instruction on pressure, pacing, directionality, and the important aftercare most people completely overlook.
IMPORTANT: This class focuses only on the neck and jaw, the least error-prone areas to begin with. Future trainings will continue upward into the face once these foundational zones are mastered. This is how cupping should be learned: step by step.
