Qu Ban Mian Mo Brightening Mask

Dermatology M

We call this our non-laser "laser" because it makes skin look lasered without harsh acids or downtime - just the power of Chinese herbs.

1.7 oz / 50 mL

A bit messier than a sheet mask and will stain a towel, but this all-herbal results-driven approach is surprisingly effective for:

Resurfacing and evening skin tone: Removes dead cell buildup from skin without stripping moisture. Skin looks exfoliated and renewed as if you had a laser or strong acid peel, but didn't.

Helps Fade Hyperpigmentation + Melasma. Chinese herbs in formulation target:

    • Disperses stagnation in superficial skin layers
    • Cools heat + calms inflammatory patterns that trigger excess melanin
    • Fades discoloration through energy activation of cells and circulation

Exfoliates Without Compromising Your Barrier For folks with sensitive skin, exfoliants can often dry the skin. This mask clears stagnation + buildup while preserving moisture reserves (which is critical as skin turnover slows with age).

This Mask Is Great For Those With:

    • Stubborn melasma unresponsive to other topicals
    • Hyperpigmentation, dark spots, uneven tone
    • Dull, tired-looking skin
    • Anyone who wants exfoliation without acid damage

Keep in mind melasma can be a stubborn condition requiring internal balancing. For advanced cases of melasma and pigmentation, we offer a full herbal consult program by trained and licensed TCM Dermatology practitioners. Email us for more info!

    How To Use

    For a weekly skin reset:

Do a spot test (3–5 minutes) if you’re sensitive. Apply a solid layer after cleansing, leave on for 20–30 minutes. Rinse off thoroughly. (Wet + hot towel works best, or in shower) Follow with hydration and moisturizer. Use 1–2x a week.

    For light to moderate melasma/hyperpigmentation:

Use mask as instructed above for 2–3x weekly. Be consistent.

    For dark, stubborn melasma:

Use daily for 1–2 weeks, then taper down to 2–3x weekly. If that’s not enough, try leaving on overnight 2–3x a week (but protect your pillowcase!). More persistent melasma may require a combo of internal balancing, which we also offer.
