Ice is not the answer

Ice is not the answer

Do you use ice when your eyes are feeling puffy or tired? In Chinese medicine practice, we use movement to build circulation. Ice restricts blood flow and causes stagnation. Facial Gua Sha stimulates better blood flow and qi (energy). Better circulation relieves the congestion of a puffy eye or the stagnation behind dark circles. Proper eye Gua Sha technique invigorates the health of the structures below (muscle, ligaments, fat) that support your skin above, so you look more refreshed and alive.
