6 Symptoms You Didn't Know Could Be Spring Allergies

Allergies don’t always show up as classic itching, sneezing, and sinus congestion. They can also show up like:

  • Headaches – especially when affecting forehead, nose, eyes and/or cheekbones
  • Unusual increase in fatigue, exhaustion
  • Running nose
  • Puffy eyes and face
  • Dizziness
  • Brain fog

Two or more recent onset of these symptoms could mean allergies. Read on for the best all-natural remedies.

BI-YAN LING NASAL SPRAY

One of our favorite TCM products of all time:
An all-natural nasal spray that works!
A topical spray version of a TCM herbal remedy used internally for sinus issues. Use twice a day—one pump per nostril. Check out our social media post on the spray.

DO THE BACK NECK STROKE

Use your Lanshin Gua Sha Tool to hit the points on the back of the neck that unblock sinus congestion, relieve headache and improve circulation in the head & face. Click here to view the tutorial.

CHILL OUT

Don’t use cold Gua Sha tools on your body, except if your eyes itch! Save yourself from possible eye damage by distracting the itch with a chilled Gua Sha tool.

  • Refrigerator chill (don’t freeze) your tool, or dunk in chilled water.
  • When you feel the itch start, resist scratching.
  • Apply the cool tool to hot, itching eye.
  • Focus on the soothing cool, sensation until the itch passes.
  • Repeat as needed.

GET ACUPUNCTURE OR TCM HERBAL TREATMENT

If these at-home tips aren’t enough for your case, try seeing your Acupuncturist or TCM practitioner for treatment. Acupuncture, Gua Sha, Cupping, and TCM herbal remedies can be extremely helpful. If your allergies are seasonal, it’s best to begin treatment 1-2 months before the season begins.
